Sister Chat: The Mother's Day Edition

Mother's Day is around the corner, and whether you're trying to find something for the moms in your life, or you want to grab something for yourself (no judgment here 😉), we compiled some of our favorite gift ideas at all different price points!

FOR THE BOOK LOVER

Kindle: One of my favorite gifts I've ever received (my sisters got this for me for my graduation last year!). If you have a book lover that doesn't have one yet, this is a great idea.

Kindle Case: Already have a kindle lover? This cute case is what I sent to my husband for a gift idea for me this year. It's adorable.

Auto-Page Turner: This one of my favorite impulse buys over the holidays. I bought it for myself so I can turn the page while I'm walking on the treadmill or laying in bed!

Book of the Month Club: Love physical books instead? This Book of the Month Club is such a fun idea (and you can gift it to someone!).

Book Lover Hat: My friend just got this last week and it went on my wish list immediately.

Candle + Candle Warmer: Listen, when I read after my kids are in bed, I love to set a cozy mood. I got this candle recently and it is the cutest scalloped shape, but smells amazing, too. The candle warmer gives off a little glow and it just sets the tone for a cozy night in.

Big Blanket: Because blankets + reading go hand in hand (see above note on coziness). This is our favorite Utah-based blanket company. We've bought these for years and they last FOREVER. They also have robes, which I love.

FOR THE ON-THE-GO MOM

Drink Glasses: I got one of these for Christmas from one of our team members and I loved it so much! Throw it together with some true lime packets, an on-the-go syrup, cans of her favorite drink and VOILA! Easy, thoughtful, gift.

New Scent: I shared this one a few months ago, and some of you have already messaged us letting us know how much you love it! It's my current favorite scent and it's made by a Utah-based company. Cause you can be busy, but still smell amazing.

LA Hat: After having kids, hats are a lifesaver. This was one of the most popular hats at a favorite things party last year and my love for it is still going strong. It comes in a bunch of colors, too. (As a California resident, I also have to add: Go Dodgers!)

Quay Sunglasses: This is my favorite brand of sunglasses! They hold up much better than target ones, but they're still half the price of other popular brands. I have worn this pair for 9 months straight and they're still as good as day 1.

Handheld Mini Fan: For the ballpark, the theme park, or sitting sidelines at the splash pad this summer, this mini handheld fan is rechargeable and fits into any purse.

Beehive Meals: Listen, sometimes the best gift you can give is the gift of time, and grabbing some pre-made freezer meals from our partner, Beehive Meals, will save you a lot of it. Whether it's for yourself (or gifting them to another mom) a freezer full of food is always a good idea. Don't forget to use the code "six sisters" for a discount!

FOR THE COOKBOOK COLLECTOR

Every family has one. Our family has a lot. If you love collecting cookbooks, these are some of our favorites:

Cookies for Days: I've shared this one before, but I am LOVING it. As a self-proclaimed Cookie Connoisseur, this has been so fun to cook my way through.

Cake by Courtney: Her flavor combinations are a 10/10 and you will make the most delicious cakes of your life with these recipes!

Bare Minimum Dinners: We love a quick + easy dinner (and these have very few ingredients, too!). It also has some great tips for getting dinner on the table, faster.

I'll Bring the Cake: Listen, if you don't think you can bake cake, think again. Mandy is the queen of easy cake recipes and doctored mixes that will have people thinking you are a trained pastry chef.

30-Minute Meals: We couldn't resist throwing this one in there ;) This is the perfect everyday use cookbook, especially for those with no time or who are newer to the kitchen! And, it's still on sale on Amazon!

Are you cooking this Mother's Day? Check out our full breakfast collection for great brunch ideas or head over to our dessert collection for sweet treat inspo!

Have a wonderful week and I'll see you next Wednesday!
